Brightside is a ride through a lifetime soundtracked by a millennial anthem.A celebration of feeling good in your own skin, the positive impact of exercise on mental health, and the belonging that can only be found sweating it out with a group of friends and strangers.

Join your instructors on a journey of speed, strength, highs and lows. As we build a fleeting community with a common goal: work out, work hard and work on yourself.Together we will climb the hills of the millennial psyche, face the sprints of expectation and take on the challenge of financial crisis. Unpacking a generations drive for health, fitness, belonging and intimacy.

Immersive Spin Class Experience

Brightside is a dance theatre work that is site specific for spin studios. Utilising and breaking down the classic Spin Class journey of speed, strength, highs and lows to create a fun, empowering and hilarious participatory spin class performance in which everyone is both participator & audience member.

AUDIENCES

Brightside bridges together the cultural offerings of sports clubs, fitness classes and community fitness groups with a live dance and theatre performance. Creating an overlap between culture and sport, bringing live performance work to new audiences.

Burnout Simulator

A standalone 15min interactive gaming experience, where the player enters the mind of a millennial.

360 Video

This immersive video brings Brightside into the homes of audiences. It can be accessed on a mobile phone or with a VR headset.
